The last time I checked in was quite a while ago. I had three jobs, one full time, one a hobby, and the third as a sort of 'complete the image' of a hard worker. I quit the last one since it cost me more money to get to (and because my co-workers were jerks), and got a few more hours at Doc's.

Yes, yes, I know. I'm amazing. QueenMickey can juggle three jobs at once. She's a goddess, I agree.

So what's even better than that?

Why is it that all of my employers just ASSUME that I'm an idiot? Wouldn't you be at least a bit impressed by a resume that listed the dozens of awards I received for being smart, having a 98% average, being the valedictorian and school president, etc...? Not these people! Agh!

If you've read my other notes, you should be well aware that I don't get very many hours at my job (Doc's, the restaurant). In the job interview one month ago, my boss loved me. Just as he hired me, he asked, "What sort of hours would you like?" "Full time," I replied. "Not a problem," he said. My hours? Friday, 5:30 - 10:00; Saturday, 6:00 - 10:00; Sunday, 10:00 - 2:00. That's 12 1/2 hours a week at this job. I figured, 'well, I'm in training. It'll only last a week or two.'
