I was raised with being spanked, and I believe spanking your child is a proper punishment. I do not believe abusing your child or hitting so hard that it leaves bruises is proper. There is a fine line there.
What ticks me off is when adults are being over thrown by their children, and have absolutely no control! They will try to place their child in timeout, or some other form of punishment that hardly ever works. These kids will cuss, and scream at their parents, and there parents are like "what am i to do with them" SPANK his ass, thats what you do! Teach your child that negative actions causes negative results. But don't ever abuse your child. And dont spank a child just because he doesn't eat his dinner..thats just retarded.
Watching shows like supper nanny or at a grocery store and watching peoples kids control their parents makes me sick to my stomach. Your the adult here not the child.
What is the consensus of other parents out there, what are your thoughts on this subject?
